Design and realization of an event at the Japantag 2017 in Dusseldorf.
On the 20th of May, the state capital of Dusseldorf, which offers one of the largest Japanese locations in Europe, celebrated the 16th anniversary of the JAPAN DAY. On this occasion, the Filmmuseum Düsseldorf presented the diversity of Japanese culture in the cinema Black Box.
Together with the Japanese curator Hiroko Kimura-Myokam, the curator Gabriel Rodriguez and film producer Joris Schwarz (MARY JANE Studios) presented a young and exciting japanese film program. It was a good opportunity for every visitor of the city to immerse into the Japanese culture. Guaranteed was a diversified round trip through the land of the rising sun.
The event was a co-production with TFF TheaterFilmFest gUG, MARY JANE Studios and the Japan Media Arts Festival.
